- Product Description
Fire Retardant Coating for Cable Good Adhesion – Professional Protection for Power & Telecommunication Systems
To keep important wire equipment safe, you need more than just basic fire safety. We offer enterprise-level security with our Fire retardant coating for cable good adhesion, which has a fire resistance time of at least 90 minutes, an FV-0 flame retardant grade, and a flame spread ratio of at least 25. This halogen-free, low-smoke recipe was created by Henan Banggu Fire Technology, which has more than 30 years of experience making coatings. It bonds very well to a variety of wire surfaces and is very flexible (≤1mm, crack-free). Our coating is effective fire protection for power cables, telecommunications cables, and cable trays in both local and foreign projects. It is certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Why Cable Fire Protection Matters for Your Projects?
Cable fires spread quickly and destroy buildings and equipment in terrible ways. If you don't have the right safety gear, flames can spread along wire lines and damage emergency systems when you need them the most.
The covering we use makes a strong defence system. When it comes into contact with fire, it quickly grows into a thick layer of carbonised protection that stops heat from moving and stops the flame from spreading. This gives people valuable time to leave and rescue workers time to do their jobs.
You're not just putting on a layer; you're also putting up a key safety shield that keeps people and property safe.
Key Features That Set Our Product Apart
Adhesion Performance
Protection that lasts for a long time is guaranteed by strong bonds to PVC, rubber, and different types of wire jacket materials. Even on vertical wire runs and complicated routing layouts, the coating sticks firmly in place.
Halogen-Free Environmental Formula
Our fire retardant covering for cable good adhesion makes very little harmful smoke during fires because it has a halogen content of less than 0.1%. This is very important for buildings with people inside, where breathing in smoke is the biggest risk.
Fast Application & Curing
You can use spray, brush, or dip ways to apply. The surface dries in one to two hours, and the whole thing is dry after 24 hours. Your projects will stay on track with this quick turn-around without losing quality.
Excellent Chemical Resistance
The coating stays strong in tough industrial settings, substations, and seaside sites because it can handle acids, alkalis, oils, and salt spray.
Flexible & Crack-Resistant

The thin, ≤1mm bendable film moves with the cables as they expand and contract due to heat without cracking or peeling. This keeps the cables safe for as long as they are used.

Where You Can Apply This Coating?
High-Rise Buildings
Cable shafts, vertical risers, and distribution rooms require reliable fire barriers. Our coating prevents vertical flame spread that can engulf entire buildings.
Commercial Facilities
Shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, and office buildings depend on uninterrupted power for life safety systems. Protect your critical circuits with proven fire resistance.
Industrial Applications
Power plants, substations, manufacturing facilities, and process industries face extreme conditions. Our coating withstands chemical exposure while delivering consistent fire protection.
Transportation Infrastructure
Subway systems, tunnels, airports, and railway facilities need fire protection that won't fail during emergencies. Our fire retardant coating for cable good adhesion and meets demanding transportation safety standards.
Simple Application Process
It's easy to use our coating, even on complicated wire setups.
Prepare the surface by cleaning the wires and plates to get rid of dust, oil, and other impurities. Make sure the surface is dry before you apply.
Mixing: Make sure the covering has a uniform consistency by stirring it well. For most uses, there is no need to thin it.
Use: Use a brush, roller, or spray gun to put on two to three coats. Rate of coverage: 0.5 to 0.8 kg per square metre. Wait at least 4 hours between coats.

Curing: Give it 24 hours to fully cure before connecting wires or checking them.
Quality Check: Make sure the covering is the same thickness (0.5 to 1 mm) and looks the same on all treated surfaces.
The way you put it is the same as regular paint, but it protects against fire much better than regular coats.

FAQ
Q1. Why is cable fireproof coating used?

A: Fire increases the coating on cables, cable trays, and cable trenches, creating a thermal barrier. Emergency power supply and lights are maintained during critical periods by preventing wires from catching fire and spreading flames.
Q2. What criteria does it follow?
A: The national standard "Fire-Retardant Coating for Cables" is met by our product. It has official test results and comprehensive fire safety inspection and project acceptance paperwork.
Q3. What causes fire retardancy?
A: The coating rapidly foams and expands to produce a thick thermal barrier when heated. To avoid cable fires, this retards flame, isolates oxygen, and suppresses smoke.
Q4. Does cable insulation or electrical characteristics change?
A: No. The coating is non-conductive and well-insulated. The coating doesn't impact the cable's insulation resistance or electrical conductivity after drying, maintaining electrical system safety.
Q5. How many coatings are normally used?
A: Two to three coats are needed to get 0.5-1mm thickness. A square metre gets 0.5-0.8 kilogram coverage. Depending on cable diameter and design, cable use per metre is 0.2-0.4 kilogram.
